Deep End Cymru

We are a network of GPs, healthcare professionals, and partners working together to improve care for patients living in the most deprived communities in Wales.

We believe that everyone deserves access to high-quality, compassionate healthcare, no matter where they live. Our focus is on tackling health inequalities by supporting frontline practices serving the most vulnerable populations. We do this by sharing best practice, advocating for fairer resource allocation, and creating practical solutions to the unique challenges faced in areas of high deprivation.

As part of the UK-wide Deep End movement, we are committed to making sure the voices of patients and healthcare professionals from deprived communities are heard at every level – from local service design to national policy.
